ETO Project Manager
Location: Falconer, NY
Salary Range: $65,000.00 to $77,000.00
Summary:
Engineer-to-order (ETO) is SKF’s project management business process for introducing strategic new products to our customers.
The ETO project manager is responsible for strategically steering all aspects of new aerospace customer projects through the ETO process to deliver the project on-cost, on-schedule, and with quality to our customers. The project manager leads multi-disciplinary teams consisting of sales, engineering, testing, manufacturing, supply chain and supplier management.
Key responsibilities :
· Project schedule and deliverable management, risk management, and effective communication to ensure achievement of project goals and milestones.
· Key interfaces are with project teams, sponsors, and steering groups, as well as with customers.
· Will be the local process expert on ETO and is responsible for deployment and continuous improvement of the process at the manufacturing unit.
· Works with the larger SKF Aerospace team of project managers delivering new customer projects from all aerospace manufacturing units. This global team brings game changing products to the aerospace industry’s most demanding applications for customers like GE, Bell, Pratt & Whitney, Boeing, Rolls Royce, Collins.
Requirements:· Experience leading projects in a team environment
· Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or similar field.
· Ability to lead highly technical projects, while acting as a technical resource.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· MS Office Skills
Plus Qualifications :
· Project management certification, preferred.
· Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP+)
· Experience with Aeroengine products
· Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Ability to travel domestically and internationally on a limited basis
