Summary:

We’re seeking a driven, detail-oriented Supply Planning Intern to support our Automotive Aftermarket Supply Chain team.

 

This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in inventory management, supply planning, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment.

 

We offer flexibility to work with your school schedule if needed.

  

You’ll work alongside experienced professionals from planning, procurement, logistics, and supplier management to help build and execute supply plans that ensure product availability and operational efficiency.

 

This opportunity is ideal for a 4th-year student or recent graduate who is eager to apply their knowledge in a real-world setting—and who is interested in the potential to join SKF full-time upon successful completion of the internship.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and maintaining supply plans aligned with demand forecasts, inventory targets, and production schedules
  • Analyze inventory levels and recommend actions to optimize stock across the supply chain
  • Support coordination between supply and demand teams to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
  • Prepare reports and Power BI dashboards to track key supply chain metrics
  • Contribute to supply chain optimization projects and continuous improvement initiatives

 

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree (2025) in Supply Chain/Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Solid understanding of supply chain concepts (e.g., BOM, MRP, lead times, material planning, inventory management)
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with Power BI a plus
