Summary:

This is a full value chain controller position. The Controller is the co-driver supporting manufacturing and sales operations in business decisions and driving continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the full value chain of the PED unit performance.
  • Drive actual results for the P&L & Working Capital to achieve/exceed Plan.
  • Product and customer mix analysis, sales analysis and customer/channel profitability assessment, market performance evaluation, margin & cost analysis.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement Cost Saving Initiatives with NAM Management team and measures for Year over Year improvement, including optimization of Working Capital/Inventory Levels.
  • Be a proactive and challenging member of the PED unit management team
  • Drive controlling processes: yearly planning process, quarterly forecasts, monthly close activities, regular pulse meetings and transformation project meetings.
  • Perform yearly Standard Cost Calculation
  • Ensure that Standard Cost calculation, reporting, accounting and other financial and controlling matters are in line with SKF and local legal requirements. Feel responsibility for accuracy in legal reporting and compliance
  • Drive change within the PED unit for continuously improving business support, digitalization and challenging current processes.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and initiate proactive and corrective actions.
  • Identify / initiate actions to improve profitability (e.g. cost down initiatives, operations restructuring, financial analysis and modeling)
  • Sales target setting and sales incentive plan calculations.
  • Customer deal review and ROI calculations.
  • Working capital management (focus on inventory, accounts payables, Trade Receivables).

 

Requirements:

  • Several years of controlling and reporting experience, preferably from both Sales and Manufacturing operations.
  • Curiosity to understand the business, customers, and operations.
  • Strong business sense with a high level of integrity.
  • Determination and experience of implementing changes.
  • Good knowledge of SKF financial processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of SKF common systems & accounting standards and principles.
  • Strong capability of driving/performing analysis.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Interest for both developing new as well as challenging old processes and procedures.
  • Interest in people and relationship/-network management.
